7 days of holiday
7 days of Indonesian food
7 days of different company
7 days of trying to understand different language
7 days of traffic jam
Few days of stomache for everyone..
Now that is the rough idea of what we had in 7 days there. 4 of us went; Me, cheeky, wee han and Ah Ong. Ah Ong is actually our translator cum planner there ( or suppose to be la) Arrival in Jakarta is on the 21st Oct 2008 taking AirAsia Low Cost flight departing at 1315. Arriving in 2 hours time which is 1415 because Indonesia is one hour slower. The time passed very very slow over there.
When we reached, Ah Ong's friend's friend fetch us up in a Jazz. 6 people including baggage in a small car. HAHA. During the loading into the boot of the car, some random indo dude came and grab the bag from wee han and help load into the car and guess what..You GOT TO PAY! WTF? He just came out of no where.
The owner was actually quite frustrated as his mud guard keep scraping because it was too heavy. Guess who sat at the back? Luckily not me. First stop, sure la to eat. If not how our size can be like that. Es teller is the shop name. Looks like more to franchise food shop.
Frankly the only thing I missed there ( Something like ice kacang with a lot of goodies) 14000 rupiahAfter that we head directly to Plaza Indah Mall. The distance from the airport to the mall i would say is 30km max but we took like fucking 2 hours there. Why? Because of JAM. It is so bad and the honk and the highlight is a must there for their driving culture. We all thought if we would have drove..we'll still be at the junction from the airport after 2 hours. Haha.
After having picked up from the mall, we head directly towards Bandung. Another part of Indonesia which took us another 2 and half hours of driving. Whole damn day was spent mostly on travelling only. Finally we reside at the hotel which is called Sany Rosa. 375,000 rupiah a night (Rm 1 = 2770 rupiah) Not too bad for a resort like hotel.
Later at night we went out again for local traditional food. Looks like economy rice over here in Malaysia. The best part is the price vary from locals to tourist. Meaning we got a slice of their Indonesian courtesy.

On a short note...cheeky found his love there for X times...haha (indicates it is X times.. not only one time).. stay tuned for more of this sizzling news...
