Simulator

Been busy this few days with simulator re-current training. For those who don't know, its to give the pilots HELL every 6 months. All pilot go through this until the end of their career so not an overpaid job la. Come on la.

Being inside is the worst you can expect. From engine failure to engine fire to dual hydraulics failure and total electrical failure as well as dual engine failure. Its not easy but we gotta do it unless we are considering other career like cabin crew or aircraft cleaners then no need.

Other company are paying 500USD an hour to do their training while airasia paying us to do training. HAHA. Unfair right? But if you have money to invest, its an 18million USD dollar thing. OK wat?! Right?! And you gotta hire qualified engineers to maintain it. This is how it looks like..

How it looks like inside

For your info, if you think the emergencies I said doesnt sound scary enough. Imagine you in you plane, looking out, the engine is on fire and a total electrical failure would be imagining the whole plane being dark. Nothing else but just people screaming and crying. Thats how bad it is.
